Job Summary Under the direction of the Nurse Director, the Nurse Manager is responsible for the direction and coordination of all functions in the unit to include ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care provided. Provides support to the nursing unit on operational metrics such as productivity, Huron Rounding compliance, behavioral based competencies, Kronos. Works with Director to ensure that staffing grids, and FPC are up to date and current needs are reflected. Works directly with House Supervisors to provide appropriate and timely admission to the facility taking into account current census, inpatient emergency transfers, acuity of the patient, and services provided at each location.
