Child Lane opened one location in 1984, serving just a handful of children. Today, Child Lane serves nearly 6,500 children a day by operating five child development centers, supporting a network of 40 licensed family child care providers, and monitoring the nutrition programs of 530 family child care homes. The services provided have contributed meaningfully to the lives of more than 200,000 children and their families over four decades.
