Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Infant & Toddler Teacher who holds full ECE units, including Infant/Toddler units. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early development and committed to creating a nurturing, responsive classroom environment.

Montessori experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with Montessori certification may be eligible for higher compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers
  • Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain a calm and orderly classroom aligned with Montessori principles
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing and health and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified with ECE units and Infant/Toddler units (required)
  • Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed setting
  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Patient, reliable, and responsive approach to caregiving
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Montessori certification or experience (preferred but not required)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $20–$25, depending on experience and credentials
