As an Avionics Mechanic in the Army National Guard, you will make sure these systems and instruments operate properly. Through training and practice, you will learn how to perform maintenance on tactical communications-security, navigation, and flight control equipment. As a Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer, you will support the maintenance of chemical decontamination equipment and quartermaster machinery. In order to perform these functions, you will train to maintain laundry and bath equipment, pumps, engines, burners, filter units, and water purification units.
