Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Radiologic Technologist Aide position is to provide patient/material transportation service and aide and assist the technical/nursing staff to improve patient throughput. These materials may include, but are not limited to specimens, oxygen tanks, packages, slips, supplies, medication orders, labs, mail, CT/ MRI supplies, and other items as needed. May utilize various equipment locks, etc. The Radiologic Technologist Aide will communicate/secure preventive maintenance on all transport equipment as required. Also assists the technical and Nursing staff to put patients on and off the table and other duties to facilitate and expedite the care of patients. Performs radiographic procedures and other functions related to the production of x-rays of accurate and diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
