Guard Snapshot: Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Army National Guard was called earlier this week to support local emergency officials in their attempts to contain wildfires that claimed more than 6,000 acres of land and as many as 20 homes over the weekend. Three U-H 60 Black Hawk helicopters equipped with bambi buckets arrived in Guthrie, Oklahoma, at around 9:30 a.m. on Monday and took turns dropping 660 gallons of water at a time throughout the day. It’s impressive to watch. Check out the video and visit our jobs board to search aviation careers in the Army National Guard.
