Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral health care! Our full-time position will be available this May as one of our wonderful hygienists is retiring.
We are seeking a hygienist passionate about making a difference and ready to work with a patient-centered integrative approach to patient care. The ideal candidate would be excited to learn about all aspects of biologic dentistry and the oral-systemic connection.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, promote patient education, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for, informed, and confident in their dental health journey. We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented professionals committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and infection control.
*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
* Conduct patient assessments and reviewing medical histories to ensure safe treatment procedures.
* Taking X-rays while adhering to all safety protocols and infection control standards
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, nutrition, and instruction to promote lifelong dental health
* Maintain accurate and detailed records using Open Dental, Dentimax, CBCT, and Itero scanner
*Qualifications*
* Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification in CPR and infection control procedures
* Proficiency in dental terminology, and documentation review for accurate records
* Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with team members
* A passion for health and patient relationships!
