*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiovascular healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care across various settings, including acute care, outpatient services, and geriatrics. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality medical services while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
* Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions.
* Provide specialized care in cardiovascular disease detection, evaluation, and treatment.
* Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems - Familiarity with eCW a plus.
* Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care for patients.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for case management and discharge planning.
* Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
*Requirements*
* Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license with relevant certifications.
* Experience cardiovascular disease and general cardiology
* Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
