*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. *Responsibilities*
* Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
* Perform animal catheterization and maintain aseptic techniques throughout procedures.
* Monitor animal vital signs and administer medications as directed by the veterinarian.
* Provide basic nursing care, including wound care and administering injections.
* Conduct laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
* Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
* Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
* Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
* Handle dogs and other animals safely during examinations or treatments.
* Participate in pet grooming services as needed.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:
* Proficient in animal catheterization techniques.
* Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
* Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology to assist in diagnostics.
* Experience in animal care practices, including husbandry and grooming.
* Ability to handle dogs and other pets with confidence and compassion.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
