*Overview*
If you’re an ARRT (R) (CT) (MRI) certified tech with 2 years of experience or more (preferred), and looking for a full time job, this might be the job for you! We are seeking a MRI/CT registered technologist to perform imaging studies Monday - Friday (9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
*Primary Responsibilities*
* Perform MRI scans on low and high field strength magnets to produce high quality diagnostic images
* Perform CT scans to produce high quality diagnostic images
* Perform x-ray procedures to produce high quality diagnostic images
* Assist radiologist with procedures
* Start I.V.’s and administer contrast media as directed per protocol
* Evaluate scans for technical quality, process images with appropriate labels/measurements
* Ensure patients are informed and comfortable; help keep patient calm ensuring they receive the best care possible.
* Communicate effectively with team to ensure seamless process
* Maintain complete and accurate patient records
* Provide emotional and physical support; meet needs of patients for all procedures
*Requirements*
Heavy lifting: Frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, stoop and lift and walk without restrictions.
*Degree*
* Associates Degree or higher from approved school of radiologic technology
* ARRT certification in X-ray
* ARRT certification in MRI
* ARRT certification in CT
* BLS certification
*Qualifications*
* Radiology workflow knowledge and experience
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Experience working in fast-paced environments
* Self-motivated and self-directed
* Basic computer program knowledge
* Prior experience with Hitachi medical equipment and Merge PACS a plus
